Mount Ikoma trail

Back in Tokyo today, I now have the use of a civilised computer.  I proudly present you the photos from my recent walk up Mount Ikoma.

The early part of the trail up from Ikoma station.Hozanji temple grounds.

Hozanji temple grounds.

Filling his flask with rice wine, this gentleman has worked out how to get the most out of Buddhism. Shortly after he started helping himself to 5 yens in the collection box.

Stone statues of Jizo line the trail.

Thomas the Tank Engine, Anpanman and Hello Kitty are waiting for you.

In the amusement park toilets lurked this terrifying monster.

Hahaha! Found you! I remembered you mentioned hiking Mount Ikoma in a tour report, so I googled it for more information and found your blog. Nice photos! Ruth

Feel like you have discovered a stash of porn under my bed (if I had a stash of porn of course).

Liked the volunteer e-mail, United PLant sounds good. I had an email from Peaceboat recruiting volunteers for all of this month (September), I am surprised to hear they have stopped.

Well done on run – look forward to hearing about it properly.
